REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The Indonesian construction company, PT Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk, will build an integrated super block area at Bambu Apus, East Jakarta, to promote the creative industry, its CEO Lukman Purnomosidi said on Monday.
"We want to build an integrated area that can accommodate creativity, such as culinary skills, painting and photography. We even have plans to construct a recording studio," said Lukman.
According to him, the integrated area, named Eureka Township, will bring together all artists' communities in Indonesia and allow them to showcase their products on one platform.
The township, which will occupy 21 hectares of land, will have not just studios and galleries but also apartments, office buildings, hotels and shopping malls as well. The total investment made for the construction is about 3 trillion IDR.
The township will be built in four phases. Phase one will see the construction of eight towers, of which four will be for apartments and the rest for hotels and office buildings.
