REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Health, Nafsiah Mboi said that government continued to monitor the spread of Ebola virus in Saudi Arabia. They will coordinate with local government. She told to reporters after opening the National Congress of Pediatrics in Palembang on Sunday night.
"Ministry of Health continues to communicate with government of Saudi Arabia related the virus spread," Mboi said.
Indonesian pilgrims must avoid the virus because they are vulnerable to this, especially when carry out Hajj activity. Local government to tighten citizens who plans to go to Saudi Arabia. They will not provide visa for someone suspected the virus.
However, there has been no case of Ebola virus in Indonesia. The examination of M (32 years), a patient suspected Ebola virus is negative. The male citizen of Ghana is currently being treated at Dr Sulianti Saroso - Hospital Infection Diseases in Jakarta. He is only positive for malaria.
