REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The president-elect, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo has scheduled a meeting with Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to discuss state budget draft for 2015. He will focus on priority programs after sworn in as the new president on October 20, 2014.
"We will meet soon. Now, Mr President is still in Papua," Jokowi said on Friday in Jakarta.
Jokowi hopes that he still can pursue his priority programs in 2015 state budget despite Yudhoyono has delivered the financial statement at Parliament building on August 15.
Jokowi and Yudhoyono will also discuss the ministerial seats to elaborate issues in each ministry that will be challenges for next government.
Vice president Jusuf Kalla claimed that current government had failed to manage the state budget. The budget was burdened by high subsidized fuel. Hence, the only solution is increasing fuel prices.
