REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) and the Indonesian Nano Community (MNI), facilitated the transfer of technology among nanotechnology practitioners during the Indonesian Nano Summit (INS) 2014.

Transfer of technology was crucial to the development and application of nanotechnology research in industry, Head of LIPI's Innovation Center, Nurul Taufiqu Rochman, said here, Saturday.

Nurul, who is concurrently chairperson of the Indonesian Nano Community (MNI), said the INS 2014 discussed issues on nanotechnology, transfer of technology resulting from research, and the application of product standardization in the downstream chemical industry.

LIPI Chairman, Lukman Hakim, and his deputy in charge of scientific services, Bambang Subiyanto, were present at the Summit venue, Saturday, to officially launch the LIPI book on Incubation Guides.
