REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander Gen. Moeldoko asserted that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) should not exist and grow in Indonesia because it could lead to a split in community.
"ISIS is a very important issue, so it should not grow in Indonesia," he said after post-lebaran ceremony at Military Headquarters in East Jakarta on Monday.
According to him, the existence of ISIS wil provide a threat to Indonesian people because it can lead to disunity. Pluralism is so troublesome and this nation can be split.
The existence of ISIS will trigger treason in Indonesia and it can change the Homeland. Moeldoko said that he would bring this discussion to Presidential Palace.
