Inter Milan secures fund worth 230 million euro

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MILAN – FC Internazionale Milano (Inter) has further strengthened its finance after confirming long term funding via a 230 million euro Senior Secured Term Loan facility, arranged by Goldman Sachs. The funding was initiated by Inter’s three principals, Erick Thohir, Massimo Moratti and Handy P Soetedjo. 

“We are glad to have put this funding in place via Goldman Sachs”, said the President of Inter, is the hmajority owner of International Sports Capital (ISC) in a written statement on Wednesday.

According to him, the distribution of this facility to global investors shows that Inter has good credibility among international financial institutions.

In addition to this milestone in the club’s history, the football club has recently reached a renewal contract with Nike as the club’s technical sponsor with an amount of more than 200 million euros, and an agreement with Infront Sports & Media worth 80 million euros. 

 “Inter is a remarkable football club with an amazing history and bright future. We are delighted and honored to help Inter reach its funding goal,” Gregory Carey, a managing director of Goldman Sachs added.
