REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Vice President of Human Resources Development Service of Korea, Kweon Ki Weon, said that Sputh Koreans favored Indonesians to work as their employers.

"They favor Indonesian workers," Kweon said in a written statement on Saturday.

Earlier, Kweon met with Head of the National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (BNP2TKI) Gatot Abdullah Mansyur. Kweon said that South Korea needed more Indonesian workers to work there because they were smart, obedient, and hardworking.

Kweon visited Indonesia to witness the Employment Permit System-Test of Proficiency in Korean Paper Based Test (EPS-TOPIK) held on Saturday and Sunday in four major cities, namely Solo, Jakarta, Malang and Bandung. In 2014, the test is followed by 30,596 participants.
