REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Investigators of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) re-summoned former Minister of Finance, Agus Martowardojo. Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) will be questioned as a witness in Hambalang sports center corruption case.
Martowardojo came at KPK building at around 09.45 AM. He has been called to give testimony as a witness in trial session at Corruption Court, Jakarta.
"I will give testimony regarding to Machfud Suroso," Martowardojo said on Monday.
Suroso is President Director of PT Citra Dutasari Laras, one of suspects in Hambalang construction project. When he served as Ministry of Finance, Martowardojo said that former Minister of Youth and Sports, Andi Malarangeng applied the multiyear contracts.
On the existing audit result of Inspectorate General at Ministry of Finance about the multiyear contract in Hambalang project, it indicated the incompleteness in the Ministry's tender process. The attachment related to the petition was not signed and equipped by technical recommendation from Ministry of Public Works.
However, the agreement was finally approved by Ministry of Finance.
