Govt to establish a creative center in Depok

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Director of Cooperation and Facilitation in Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Lolly Amalia Abdullah said that government would establish a creative center in Depok, West Java. Government has previously established Sukaluyu Digital Creative Center in Bandung.

"Depok and surrounding areas have many universities, such as Gunadharma University, Bina Sarana Informatika, Pancasila University, University of Indonesia, IISIP and others Creative people from the college will be main capital for the development of a creative hub in the region," Abdullah said recently as reported by Rusdi Nurdiansyah.

Depok has the potential to be a creative hub as it has prospective entrepreneurs. It can provide space to individuals, communities and business groups to express their creativity.

The Creative Center will be a gathering place for creative people who start a business in Depok. Creative business ideas will grow in that place equipped by facilities, such as Intellectual Property Rights clinic, directories innovation and innovation centers. It includes offices for business starter, clinical consultation, technical and management workshop of entrepreneurship, finance and business contacts.
