REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jaringan Suara Indonesia survey showed that there were only 10 political parties qualifying parliamentary threshold of 3.5 percent in 2014 election. Executive Director of Jaringan Suara Indonesia, Widdi Aswindi said that Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) was predicted to be the winner with 24.7 percent votes.

"PDIP will gain 24.7 percent votes and it will not be exceeded by other parties," Aswindi said on Sunday.

The ten political parties that qualified parliamentary threshold will create a more stable democracy in Indonesia. PDIP is also expected to be the winner in this year election.

The second position is followed by Golkar party (18 percent), Gerindra (11.8 percent), Democratic Party (9 percent) and National Awakening Party or PKB (7.9 percent). Next, National Mandate Party (6.5 percent), Janura (6.1 percent), United Development Party (5.4 percent), National Democratic Party (4.3 percent) and Crescent Star Party (0.9 percent).

In the survey, there are 15 percent voters changing their votes in legislative election 2014. The political analyst of University of Indonesia, Adrinof Chaniago said that the top three political parties were PDIP, Golkar and Gerindra.
