REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Minister of State Owned Enterprises, Dahlan Iskan said that he was ready if selected or not as presidential candidate in Democratic Party's Convention. He explained it in his speech at the launch of book 'The Next One Biografi Dahlan Iskan' in Jakarta on Monday.

"I always ready for both conditions," Iskan said recently as reported by Nora Azizah.

Iskan gets the highest ratings among other participants of Democratic Party's Convention. He has not been proposed by other parties until now. He is still awaiting the Commission's decision.

"They know that I have a consistent attitude," Iskan added.

Former President Director of State Owned Electricity Company (PLN) admitted that it was not easy to become an Indonesian president. The country has many complicated problems, such as middle class and poverty. There are 100 million middle class people in Indonesia and they do not want to be the poor.

So that campaigns, which took fuel and energy issue are not very influential. Indonesia must find a way how to create a new breakthrough in empowering resources and other state's assets.

Middle class people also have media to voice their aspirations, such as social media, which is becoming a phenomenon. Other problems in Indonesia are infrastructure, industry and agriculture, which are sometimes hitting the bureaucracy and state budget. All of issues will be a big job for the next Indonesian president.
