REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KUALA LUMPUR -- The daughter of Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah, pilot of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, expressed disappointment over a media report about her father being distraught over a family feud before flying.
"Defamation is worse than murder. I will not forgive you (the media). You better think of making a movie because you are so good in making stories. God bless you," retorted Captain Zaharie's daughter Aishah (18 years old) on her Facebook account as quoted by the local media.
Earlier, British online media, Daily Mail, published an article on a testimony from Aishah about her father saying that Captain Zaharie was temperamental and not the father she once knew anymore. Aishah, according to the article, also states that Captain Zaharie and his wife were on the verge of divorce and that the captain spent more time with his flight simulator than with the family.
Meanwhile, on a Facebook page titled 'Friends of Captain Zaharie MH370', the captain's son also expressed his disappointment over the media report, which he considered irresponsible.
Captain Zaharie's wife, Faizah, pointed out that although she had not communicated with her husband and the captain spent more time with his flight simulator, to blame the captain for what happened to flight MH370 is not fair.
Earlier, an investigation conducted by the US' Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) clarified that there was no suspicious data found in Captain Zaharie's computer and that the flight simulator he built at home was just a hobby.
