REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TEHRAN -- Iran's head of Parliament National Security Foreign Policy Commission has said Tehran confab will open on Wednesday with representatives of Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Russia, and Algeria.

During a press conference on Tuesday Alaeddin Boroujerdi said that in line with Parliament policies, Iran Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission met Syrian and Lebanese officials in two important visits.

"Since resistance axis is very important, in the visit to Syria, the Islamic Republic of Iran?s delegation talked about recent developments," maintained Borujerdi.

He reiterated that "the Commission met with Syrian president, prime minister, parliament speaker and foreign minister."

"We suggested Syrian parliament that a confab in Tehran be held to explore latest developments of Syria with heads of foreign policy committees of parliaments of member countries attending; the first session will be held tomorrow and Parliament speaker Ali Larijani will open the session," said he and that "we hope to advance to further steps to find a solution for Syrian crisis."

Boroujerdi ensured that this confab would support political solution to end Syrian crisis, - but unfortunately there are forces from many countries in Syria and this is a threat for countries whose nationals go to Syria to fight since the crisis in Syria will end sooner or later, and such people have to go back to their own countries.
