CPO and derivatives dominate exports from Dumai

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DUMAI -- Crude palm oil and derivatives dominate exports from the Dumai port of Riau in 2013.

Exports of crude palm oil (CPO) and derivatives from the industrial port of Dumai totaled 4.5 million tons in 2013.

Harianja, the General Manager of state port operator PT Pelindo I of Dumai said CPO and derivatives account for 78 percent of commodities exported via the Dumai port.

He said CPO and derivatives are also shipped to other regions in the country via Dumai.

Shipments of CPO and derivatives to other regions in the country totaled 1.3 million tons in 2013, he said.
