REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Blitz Megaplex cinema operator, PT Graha Layar Prima, plans to sell its shares to public at Indonesia's Stock Exchange (IDX). Company has conducted a mini expose in front of IDX directors.

"We plan to add four new cinemas with 20 screens this year," President Director of Graha Layar Prima, Brata Perdana said on Wednesday.

Blitz Megaplex has 10 cinemas with 90 screens until last year. The addition of four new cinemas will be built in Batam, Riau Islands.

Perdana said that Indonesia needed more cinema as the country only had 230 to 240 screens in 2002. The figure dramatically plunged from two thousand screens in 1994. National film production continues to increase and the prospect is very promising.

IDX Assessment Director, Hoesen said that Blitz Megaplex could probably list its shares in March 2014. Company will use financial statements of September 2013. Its equity may be less than 500 billion IDR.
