REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TANGERANG -- The M1 gate of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport will be closed starting Monday, due to the train line development, airport management PT Angkasa Pura, announced.
According to PT Angkasa Pura II Soekarno-Hatta Airport Branch's Senior Manager Bram Bharoto Tjiptadi in Tangerang on Monday, the MI gate will be closed from Monday January 6, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time, due to the train line and station developments.
Announcing the gate close, PT Angkasa Pura put up a huge at the M1 gate.
"We have prepared North and South Perimeter Roads as the alternative roads for vehicles that will go to or leave Soekarno-Hatta Airport," Tjiptadi explained.
However, during the first day of closing, drivers can access the M1 gate to the airport since PT Angkasa Pura has still to wait for the Tangerang City Local Government's readiness for the diversion of traffic flow.
Later, vehicles from Tangerang District to Soekarno-Hatta Airport can use the South Perimeter Road and follow the route through Surya Darma Street-South Perimeter Road-Husein Sastranegara Street-Airport P1 Street.
Meanwhile, vehicles from Soekarno-Hatta Airport to Tangerang can use the North Perimeter Road and take the route through Airport P2 street-North Perimeter Road-Surya Darma Street.
