Pertamina to build fuel station in Mamuju this year

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAMUJU -- State owned oil and gas company, PT Pertamina plans to build new fuel station in Belang-Belang port, Mamuju, West Sulawesi this year. Governor of West Sulawesi, Anwar Adnan Saleh said that central government had promised to build Pertamina fuel station in the area since three years ago.

"It will produce in early 2014," Saleh said on Tuesday.

Pertamina fuel station is very important due to fuel shortage in this area. About 1.5 million residents of Mamuju often experienced fuel shortage. it becomes a serious problem from year to year.

During this, West Sulawesi gets fuel from Pare-Pare, about 300 kilometers from South Sulawesi. Pertamina is often too late to supply fuel to the location.

Pertamina will build fuel station with capacity of 10 thousand tonnes with budget of 180 billion IDR.
