REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Golkar Party has predicted the fate of Banten Governor, Ratu Atut Chosiyah who has been named as suspect by Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Deputy Secretary General of Golkar Party, Ace Hasan Syadzily said that the party would not intervene the legal process against Chosiyah.

"We already predicted that she would be a suspect after she was summoned by Commission for several times," Syadzily said on Wednesday.

Syadzily hopes that Commission will be objective in enforcing the law fairly.  Golkar has to respect the legal process, which is currently underway. He believed that there are many potential cadres of Golkar Party who are capable carrying the party's victory in Banten.

Golkar Party in Banten, he said, is not only depending on Chosiyah and family. For example, Zaki Iskandar, a young cadre of Golkar Party, who is now served as Regent of Tangerang. There is also Tubagus Iman Aryadi, Mayor of Cilegon.

Chosiyah case will not influence the solidity of Golkar cadres. Syadzily said that the party structure was solid and ready to face 2014 election.
