REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENVER -- Two students were injured and the suspect died after a shooting at a high school in Centennial, Colorado, on Friday, authorities said.

The suspect was a male student at Arapahoe High School in a Denver suburb and died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson told reporters.

The shooting began after the shooter entered the school to target a specific teacher, who was informed of the situation and exited the school, he added.

One student was taken to a hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound, he said, adding that another student had a minor injury, but it wasn't clear whether that student was shot.
