REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TEHRAN -- Russian foreign minister has said Geneve deal would recognize Iran's rights for enrichment.
Mehr News reported that Mohammad Javad Zarif and Sergey Lavrov had met in Tehran.
Sergey Lavrov told that in the meeting, they discussed regional matters of interest and Geneve deal. "In Geneve, both sides agreed on a step-by-step solution of Iran nuclear issue, one step being recognition of Iran's right to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes, and of course, ensuring the IAEA that Iran's program will be totally under the Agency's inspection," Lavrov added.
"We have a common understanding that the joint Action Plan of Gen?ve should be implemented by both sides, and would work to secure this process. We are working independently to reach the ultimate package to solve the issue," he asserted.
Mohammad Javad Zarif told that the joint Action Plan had been the subject of discussions between him and Lavrov. "We emphasized upon the implementation of the Action Plan, and close cooperation with Russia in shaping the ultimate stage," he added.
