REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Data Center Unified (DCU) explained that Jakarta public was not satisfied with traffic congestion and public transport management conducted by Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo (popularly known as Jokowi) and his deputy Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok). Majority of 61.5 percent of respondents are not satisfied and only 33.8 percent of them are satisfied, while 4.6 percent answered that they did not know.

"In one year Jokowi and Ahok run the government, public is not satisfied with their performance in handling congestion and 50.8 percent respondents are also not satisfied in improvement of public transportation," Head of DCU, Didik J Rachbini said recently.

Though public is not satisfied with major issues, the figure of Jokowi still favored by society as seen in various surveys. However, Rachbini said, if main problem in Jakarta could not be resolved, then his popularity would decline.

Public is satisfied with Jokowi and Ahok programs in educational sector, health and informal sector. The most important, public is satisfied with their management for street vendors, bureaucracy and education.

DCU's researcher, Agus Herta said that this survey was conducted in all regions of Jakarta using random telepoling, during October 11-13, 2013. They are 500 respondents with margin of error of 4.5 percent.
