REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MILAN -- F.C. Internazionale Milano S.p.A. announced on Friday that in accordance with the binding agreement signed on October 15th 2013, International Sports Capital has become the new majority shareholder of the Company with a 70% stake by virtue of a dedicated capital increase, reported by MaltaToday.
As a consequence, the new shareholding of the Company is composed by: International Sports Capital, company indirectly owned by Erick Thohir, Rosan Roeslani and Handy Soetedjo (70.0%), Internazionale Holding S.r.l. (29.5%) and the minority shareholders.
"I am truly pleased I have found the new owners of this glorious Club," said Massimo Moratti. "I am convinced they are more than equipped to keep on adding new successes to our beloved colors. Personally I feel honored I have been the President of Inter for so many years."
On the other hand, Thohir said that the moment was a special day for him.
"I really want to thank my friend and new partner Massimo Moratti for the trust and support, and thank also my partners Rosan and Handy, who I’ve known for more than 20 years; I want also to thank our families. Most of all, thanks to our supporters all around the world and wherever I met them, on Twitter or personally," said Erick Thohir.

Today the Shareholders Meeting has also elected the new Board of Directors, made up of eight members: Erick Thohir, Rosan Roeslani, Handy Soetedjo, Thomas Shreve, Hioe Isenta, Angelomario Moratti, Rinaldo Ghelfi and Alberto Manzonetto. Erick Thohir has been elected President of the Board; Massimo Moratti is the Honorary Chairman of the Club.
Inner Circle Sports has acted as financial advisor to International Sports Capital, while Jones Day and Ernst & Young have acted as legal and accounting advisors, respectively. F.C. Internazionale Milano and Internazionale Holding were advised by Lazard and Four Partners as financial advisors and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton as legal advisors.
