REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- Vice Governor of West Java, Deddy Mizwar, was reluctant to say much related a discourse to support West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) as a presidential candidate for 2014 General Election by the West Java leadership (DPW) of Prosperous and Justice Party (PKS).

"About that, I just say please, welcome. I appreciate this as a political process. But, I do not want to predict [the future]. Mangga saja (please, welcome!)," Deddy Mizwar said in Gedung Sate building, Bandung, Friday.

The reason why he did not want to respond too much about possibilities of nominating Ahmad Heryawan as a candidate, he said is, because some of figures that are currently predicted to be presidential candidates were not necessarily so when nearing the 2014 Presidential Election.

"Because, sometime those who were not predicted, even can be [an elected president]," he said.

"Therefore, I do not want to go deep in to the topic."

However, when asked about his readiness if Ahmad Heryawan to be nominated as a candidate, Deddy said he has to be prepared for whatever circumstances.

The readiness, according to him, to be addressed to cover lot of things that might happen in the future, which requires him to be ready to replace Ahmad Heryawan as a governor.

"But not because the pres. candidacy issue alone. All must be prepared. Ready or not, I must be ready. It could be a sudden appointment to become a minister or died, yes, no matter what condition is, I have to be ready," he said.
