REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Center for Language Development and Protection Agency in Ministry of Education and Cultural will intensify the translation of Indonesian language to foreign languages. Based on recommendations of Bahasa Indonesia's Congress, government must strengthen position and function of Bahasa Indonesia through translation and book publishing nationally and internationally.
"We follow up it. Bahasa Indonesia will be translated to some foreign languages, especially international language," Head of Center for Language Development and Protection Agency, Sugiyono said recently.
Sugiyono said that translation process will be intensified next year. Hopefully, Indonesian people can get more knowledge in their own language.
