So you want to be president? This is how it feels

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) admitted, there are a lot of pessimistic and negative comments towards the rising of number of presidential candidates.

"Wonder, why so many who want to be president, is it good? Could it improve this country?" Yudhoyono said quoting these comments.

According to him, it is not true if the president deemed completely hard, miserable and nothing could be done for the nation.

"For the true leader, the ups and downs, heavy challenges and historical test are certainly romantic and incomparable richness of life," Yudhoyono said through his twitter account @SBYudhoyono as reported setkab.go.id, Monday (11/11).

According to Yudhoyono, the sacrifices that have to be paid by a president are also remarkable.

"A leader is a person who hailed once hated. But somehow it's a noble thing," he said.

He recounts, fatigue feeling both physically and mind were vanished while the president visiting the area and meet community, hearing their expectations and aspirations.

"Seeing the light in the eyes of people in many opportunities, it feels no problem without solution, whatever the problem is," he said.

He also believed any president would have huge ambitions and goals in order to overcome the problems of the nation. They have also ambition to score achievements and concrete results.

"If the president and the people who support him could make Indonesia better and advanced, that is the peak of happiness and honor of a president," he said.
