SDA argued as a Minister of Religious Affairs (MoRA) he wants to focus on performing his duties.

"The moment I was asked to be the candidate was before my departure for pilgrimage, so I chose to focus first to complete the implementation of the state pilgrimage process," said SDA, as he is usually called.

SDA revealed, he planned to announce his decision, whether willing or not to be nominated as pres. candidates of the PPP, after organizing the pilgrimage is completed in 2013. The process will be officially completed on next 19 November.
