Two U-19 national team players to play in Bangkok Student Cup

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The U-19 national team training camp has started (TC) in preparation for competing in the finals of U-19 Asia Cup in Myanmar next year. However, three players who missed the first training session which was held in the Kusuma Agrowisata field, Batu, East Java, on Saturday (9/11).

Coach Indra Sjafri said the three players who are absent are Rudolf Basna Yanto, Septian David Maulana, and Terens Owang Puhiri. The three players could not attend the training for different reasons. Rudolf Yanto who previously had attended the selection ahead of the AFF Cup 2013 and Asian Cup qualifiers must be absent due to illness.

Yanto, Indra said, has sent a letter for sick leave and informs that he would be joined at the end of November. While two other players; Septian David Maulana and Terens Owang are absent for playing in the Student Cup, in Bangkok, Thailand. But both players were absent without leave permission.

"We'll see. If there is no news we will streak their names," Indra said to ROL.

Indra summoned 40 players. All players who previously appeared on the AFF Cup 2013 and Asian Cup qualifiers has been in Kota Batu. Only three players namely Maldini Pali, Yabes Roni, and Zulifandi cannot be forced to follow a morning training session flight delay.

"But they've come," Indra said.
