REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined President Director of Pertamina, Karen Agustiawan as a witness in a bribery case in upstream oil and gas activities for suspect of Rudi Rubiandini who is also former head of Indonesian energy regulator SKK Migas. She came to KPK office on Thursday at 09.35 AM.

"Yes, President Director of Pertamina will be examined as a witness to suspect of Rudi Rubiandini," KPK spokesman, Johan Budi said on Thursday.

Agustiawan brought her eight aides. She said that her coming was for the invitation to be questioned as a witness for Rudi Rubiandini. As a good citizen, she has to fulfill the KPK summons. However, she refused to answer when she was asked why she did not meet the call which was originally conducted on Monday, November 04.

On Monday, Agustiawan did not meet the KPK summons because she already had an event that could not be avoided. Minister of State Owned Enterprises, Dahlan Iskan asked Agustiawan to reveal everything she knew in the examination.
