REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - State owned airline company, PT Garuda Indonesia continues to improve its flight services to China. The best regional airline in Asia increases its flight frequency to Beijing from five times a week to seven times a week.
"With the increased passengers from Jakarta to Beijing, Garuda decided to increase its flight frequency to Beijing," General Manager of Garuda Indonesia in Beijing, Asa Perkasa said on Wednesday.
Perkasa said that additional flight numbers for this route would also be followed by some efforts to capture markets, not only among Chinese tourists but also businessmen. Garuda Indonesia also encourages more foreign tourists in China, especially in Beijing to fly with Garuda Indonesia.
Prospective foreign tourists in China now reach 70 percent, based on Travel Fair data. Perkasa explained that level of entries for Jakarta-Beijing flight reached 77 percent in the first semester of 2013.
