REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LONDON -- Indonesian Vice President Boediono will give a general lecture on "Transforming Indonesia: The Challenges of Good Governance and Economic Development" at Oxford University here on Wednesday.
"Through the lecture, I will promote Indonesia to British academicians and the various development programs that we have made and will make," the Vice President said.
The general lecture is a part of Boediono's working visit to London, said the Vice President's spokesman, Yopie Hidayat.
The Vice President will also visit the Bodlein Library, which has an extensive collection of books, he stated.
In his lecture, Boediono will highlight the achievements made by the government of Indonesia in its efforts to improve its political and economic sectors, Hidayat added.
Vice President Boediono will also talk about efforts to eradicate corruption, which are a part of the national agenda and on the people's wishlist, he said.
