REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR - Provincial government of Bali plans to build an international sports stadium in Jimbaran to support development of national football. Deputy Governor of Bali, I Ketut Sudikerta said that the construction of sports facilities would be based on a feasibility study and detail engineering design (DED).

"The construction of Jimbaran stadium will be started next year. It is our commitment to meet requirements of National Sports Games (PON) in 2020," Sudikerta said recently.

Bali needs support from all parties, both local government and its people. The stadium must be close to airport and other public facilities, so it can be used in world championship. Local government still calculates the construction budget.
