Police raid drug factory in Bekasi's luxury house

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Police on Monday raided a luxury house posing as a crystal methamphetamine, or shabu-shabu factory in Villa Mutia Kirana Bekasi at Cut Meutia street, Bekasi, East Java. The house has became a Police's target for four months.

"We received the information from one of local housing security officers," Jakarta Police officer, Com JR Sitinjak said recently.

The house is rented by suspect with initial name of ZS (30 years). ZS and other suspect who is identified as SI, an Australian citizen, have been detained for further development. Police confiscated more than 100 kilograms liquid raw materials for producing meth, five kilograms of mixed material and thousands of tablets in plastic bags.

The liquid raw material is a type of methanol, while tablet named Quantidex and Sentra for mixed material. All raw materials, Sitinjak said, are stored in two floor house which stands on area of 150 meter squares.

The arrest of suspects was conducted after police arrested a suspected drug abusers who are busy partying in Sawo Besar, Central Jakarta. The suspects are identified as TYP, J or S and HW.  From the arrested place, Police led the case to Villa Kirana Mutia Bekasi.
