Evan Dimas: This is a fight for Indonesian dignity

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Captain of U-19 National Team, Evan Dimas spoke about commemoration of Youth Pledge Day this year. This young football player has a dream for Indonesia.

"I pray that Indonesia will always victorious. This is a momentum for young people to fight for Indonesian dignity," Dimas said on Monday.

As young football player who now becomes the front man of National Team, Dimas hopes to continue his contribution and to give achievement for Indonesian football.

"I want to bring Indonesian football to international event," Dimas added.

Dimas now becomes a star of National Team on gridiron. Together with his mates, Dimas successfully brought Indonesia as the winner of ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Cup 2013. U-19 National Team will also perform in Asian Cup Final in 2014 after the group won the qualification phase.

Garuda Jaya squad, popular name of U-19, targets the highest level. Indra Sjafri's forces bring a mission to perform in World Cup 2015 in New Zealand. U-19 National Team will get the ticket if manages to be a top four teams at Asian Cup in Myanmar next year.
