Deputy PM Ahmad, after an honorary visit at the Palace of the Vice President of Indonesia, said in a press conference that the halal market is worth 1.3 trillion US dollars (Rp 21.921 trillion) so Malaysia and Indonesia need to facilitate the joint use of halal certificates.

The two countries will coordinate and discuss in detail. Not only in terms of the production of halal products, but also in the marketing aspect of halal products.

“Because the market is not just between Indonesia and Malaysia, but includes all of ASEAN as one region for us to market what is called our original domestic market,” he said.
