Garuda changes its regular flight schedules during APEC

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - National aircraft company, PT Garuda Indonesia changes its regular flight schedules to Denpasar, Bali during APEC Summit on October 6-9, 2013. Vice President Corporate Communication of Garuda Indonesia, Pujobroto said the airline considering a temporary closure of Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar.

"We will change our regular flight scedules and frequency from various departure cities to Bali," Pujobroto said recently.

Ngurah Rai International Airport will be closed on October 6 and 8 at. 10.00 am to 08.00 pm  and on October 9 at 07.00 am to 02.00 pm to accommodate landing of aircraft state guests.

During the closing, Garuda Indonesia will suspend the operation of 139 flights including routes from Bali to Narita, Osaka, Haneda, Singapore, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Lombok, Makassar and several flights to Jakarta. Pujobroto added that Garuda Indonesia also reschedule departure time of 91 flights from Denpasar to Australia, Korea, Singapore and several other domestic flights.

Twelve airlines change their routes, including flight with destinations to Cengkareng - Denpasar - Kupang into Cengkareng - Surabaya - Kupang. Next, Cengkareng - Denpasar - Timika - Jayapura intoCengkareng - Makassar - Timika - Jayapura.

Pujobroto added that customers who wanted to attend APEC CEO Summit in Bali, could make reservation as soon as possible.
