Another witness questioned in Bank Century case

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) questioned former Commissioner of Bank Century, Robert Tantular related to corruption case of Short Term Financing Facility in Bank Century. 

"He was questioned as a witness to suspect BM (Budi Mulya)," Head of Reporting and Information in KPK, Priharsa Nugraha said on Wednesday.

Earlier, Tantular has been sentenced for nine years in prison and fine of 100 billion IDR by Supreme Court. He was tight lipped after being questioned.  

Until now, Ministry of Justice and Human Rights asked Attorney General of Jersey in United Kingdom (UK) to freeze assets derived from criminal acts of Bank Century, including assets of Robert worth 16 million USD or about 160 billion IDR in Bailiwick of Jersey, commonwealth member countries in English Channel.

Assets of Bank Century are known to exist in 14 countries. Currently, Police is only managed to save Bank Century assets in Indonesia. The number reached 295 billion IDR from total assets of 11 trillion IDR which mostly from forfeiture asset of PT Antaboga.
