REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) does not rule out the possibility to question Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jero Wacik, related to graft case of Head of Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas), Rudi Rubiandini.
KPK will ask Wacik about 200 thousand USD seized in room of General Secretary of Ministry, Waryono Karno.
"I'm not sure Wacik will claim the money as ministerial operational funds," Deputy Chairman of KPK, Bambang Widjojanto said recently, hinted his suspicion.
Investigation is still underway to build a case. Another Deputy Chairman of KPK, Busyro Muqoddas explained that investigation could go deeper into oil and gas management in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. He did not rule out about questioning Wacik if necessary.
