France seeks business opportunities in Bali

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR - French Ambassador to Indonesia Corrine Breuze and her entourage are exploring business opportunities in Bali. She met with Governor of Bali, Made Mangku Pastika this weekend.

"In the future, the business is expected to boost welfare the people of Bali. Among others, marine sector has not been developed well. We have a number of rivers as the main water sources that we have not yet used optimally," Pastika said on Saturday.

One of marine potentials in Bali is Nusa Penida Island, Klungkung regency which has as a tourist attraction because of its natural beauty. Many divers called it 'Kingdom of Media Divers.'

Pastika also presented a number of development programs in Bali, including a new airport in Buleleng regency. Bali will also build a monorail and a number of infrastructure including roads to facilitate traffic flow to overcome traffic congestion problem in Bali.
