Ambassador: Indonesians must raise awareness related to Boston bombing

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian Ambassador to United States (US), Dino Patti Djalal asked Indonesian citizen in US to raise awareness in Boston Marathon's bombing, even no Indonesians was reported hurt in the incident. 

"No Indonesian hurts in the bombing," he said on Tuesday, refers to bombing that injured at least 141 and killed three. 

Indonesian General Consultant in New York, Ghafur Dharmaputra explained there were two Indonesians participated in Boston marathon race. They were Wati Hlusak and Jerry Ng, President Director of Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional. Both survived in the the attack. Presidential spokesman, Julian Aldrin Pasha said that President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had communication with Indonesian embassy in US and discuss about the bombing.
