REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Iranian government represented by Iranian Ambassador to Indonesia, Mahmoud Farazandeh, met Indonesian Minister of State-owned Enterprises, Dahlan Iskan, on Thursday to offer cheaper crude oil to Indonesia.

"They offered crude oil needed by Indonesian oil refineries. The prices are also much cheaper," Dahlan Iskan said on Thursday after meeting the ambassador and a special envoy from Iranian Ministry of Energy.

Iranian government said that they offered lower price to Indonesia and Iran believed that Indonesia is their potential buyer. Iskan added that he referred Iranian government to state oil company Pertamina. Pertamina has an authority to respond to the offer.
