Floods force Kirchner-SBY meeting to be rescheduled

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Floods has forced President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to reschedule his meeting with President of Argentina, Cristina Elisabet Fernandez De Kirchner, on Thursday morning in State Palace. Both heads of states finally met later on the day after the State Palace was reported inundated.

"The meeting is rescheduled," Presidential Spokesman, Julian Aldrin Pasha, said on Thursday, prior to the meeting later. President Kirchner visits Indonesia on January 16-18 to deepen cooperation particulary on economy. 

Floods inundated several points in State Palace up to 30 centimeters. SBY was seen to monitor the flooded areas with Minister of Foreign Affairs Marty Natalegawa. SBY was wearing blue shirt with rolled pants, while Natalegawa was wearing suits as he expected to meet President Kirchner.
