REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President of Argentina, Cristina Elisabet Fernandez de Kirchner, visits Indonesia and meet with her counterpart, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, on Thursday.
"They will discuss the efforts to develop cooperation, particularly on economy," Presidential Staff on International Relations, Teuku Faizasyah, said on Wednesday.
During a three day visit, President De Krichner will visit National Museum (Monas) and Kalibata Heroes Cemetery. She is also scheduled to hold a business forum with Indonesian and Argentinian businessmen.
Argentina is Indonesia's third biggest export market, after Brazil and Mexico, in Latin America. While Indonesia is Argentina's biggest trade partner in ASEAN. The total of bilateral trade in 2011 was 1.94 billion USD. Until October 2012, the bilateral trade reached 1.67 billion USD.
