Ministry of finance announces 25 sales agents for sukuk

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Debt Management at the Ministry of Finance has announced the names of 25 winning bidders for sukuk issuance services that are to be provided in the domestic primary market. According to the information collected from the website of Directorate General of Debt Management in Jakarta on Tuesday, the 25 sales agents comprise 16 banks and nine securities firms.

The 16 banks are Mandiri Bank, Muamalat Bank, Negara Indonesia Bank, Central Asia Bank, Syariah Mandiri Bank, CIMB Niaga, Internasional Indonesia Bank, BRI Syariah, Permata Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, UOB Indonesia Bank, BRI, HSBC, Citibank NA, ANZ Indonesia Bank and Danamon Bank.

The nine securities firms are Danareksa Sekuritas, Lautandhana Securindo, Reliance Securities, Andalan Artha Advisindo Sekuritas, Valbury Asia Securities, Bahana Securities, Sucorinvest Central Gani, and Mega Capital Indonesia. 

The auction results of Realtors State Islamic Securities (SBSN) are announced by the Procurement Committee of the Directorate General of Debt Management. Then, a committee officer appoints the sales agents. Earlier, the Procurement Committee appointed Thamrin & Rahman Law Firm as a legal consultant for determining the winning candidate for SBSN 2013.
