REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Soekarno Hatta International Airport plans to integrate railway with the airport, expecting to excel the service in Changi Airport, Singapore. Changi Airport is equipped with MRT Station located at the basement of Terminals 2 and 3. The train eases people to get to and from Changi Airport.

"Soekarno Hatta Airport will also have unmanned train that connects the terminals," Vice Minister of Transportation, Bambang Susantono, said on Thursday.

The project is expected to finish by 2014. Susantono said the construction of railway from Jakarta to Tangerang was in progress. Once the project finished, passengers can get to airport from stations in the city, such as Manggarai and Sudirman stations.
