FIFA: No sanction for Indonesia

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - FIFA decided to would hand over the conflict between two Indonesian football associations to Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Secretary General of Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) Halim Mahfudz said. In other owrd, FIFA does not impose any sanction to Indonesia. 

Mahfudz explained that the meeting of Executive Committee FIFA in Tokyo on Friday generated positive result. "Thanks to Indonesian people," he said. 

Mahfudz attended the meeting with Chairman of PSSI Djohar Arifin and members of Executive Committe (Exco) of PSSI, Bob Hippy and Sihar Sitorus.

"Thank you for the support. The big task is awaiting. PSSI will develop and maintain the supervision of Indonesian football," he said,

The member of Exco PSSI, Bob Hippy, confirmed that FIFA did not sanction Indonesia. He said that PSSI was still waiting for official letter.
