REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President of Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Zhang Zilong, will meet the Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) and Indonesian Football Rescue Committee (KPSI) to resolve the rivalry between two Indonesian football associations.

Zilong is willing to meet both parties after he talked to the Head of Task Force, Rita Subowo, on Wednesday.

"President AFC, Zhang Zilong, will meet government and related parties to talk on the problems," Rita Subowo said on Thursday night. Task Force is a committee formed by Acting Minister of Youth and Sports Agung Laksono to solve the problems between KPSI and PSSI.

During the meeting with Zilong and President of FIFA Joseph Blatter, Subowo asked Zilong to visit Indonesia. A member of Task Force, Agum Gumelar, said that Task Force will only facilitate conciliation between KSPI and PSSI. Task Force will not interfere with Indonesian football.

"Task Force will not take side," he said firmly.

He hopes that Indonesia can take the advantage of the visit of President AFC. He expects the problems between KPSI and PSSI to end and form a better management for Indonesian football.
