Pertamina expects to be Asian Energy Championship

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - State-owned oil and gas company Pertamina expects to be Asian Energy Championship in 2025. Currently the company produce 2.2 million barrel oil and gas per day. 

In its 55 years anniversary, Pertamina, as an integrated energy company, is aiming towards integrated oil and gas company. President Director of Pertamina, Karen Agustiawan, said the achievements were the main assets.

Pertamina leads national oil companies by owning 50 percent of domestic market and around 30 percent of international market. Pertamina will develop any form generating energy, from upstream to downstream.

In midstream gas sector, Pertamina has become gas champion. The capacity of Pertamina's refinery is the top five biggest in Asia. Pertamina also dominates 50 percent of market in terms of fuel and lubricant.

Pertamina is represented by Pertamina EP in upstream sector and Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE). The activity includes exploration, exploitation, and oil and gas. In downstream sector, Pertamina Lubricant has reached European and African market.
