SBY inaugurates eight new projects of Pertamina

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono inaugurated eight new projects of Pertamina worth 15.8 billion USD. The official ceremony was conducted on the warship, KRI Makassar, on Thursday. The ship will sail to floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in West Java.

"Pertamina will be more expansive in running future business, not only in domestic, but also abroad," Director of Pertamina, Karen Agustiawan, said on Thursday.

The projects are milestone for Pertamina to be the backbone of national energy security. The projects are Enchanted Oil Recovery Pertamina EP, Pertamina Hulu Energi, dan Pertamnia EP Cepu, Gas Processing Plant Sungai Kenawang and Palu Gading, NGL Plant Peta Samtan Gas, Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU), Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal, Coco Gas Station, as well as three units of tanker, KAKAP, MEDITRAN and GAMKONORA, worth 78.8 million USD.
