REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MECCA - Indonesian House of Representatives suggested the building of permanent housing for Indonesian hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. Such facility is expected to offer better access and service to Indonesian pilgrims.

"We must start soon to build Indonesian housing for hajj pilgrims in order to provide a better service,” Head of Hajj Monitoring Team of Indonesian House of Representatives, Ida Fauziyah, said on Tuesday as reported by Endah Hapsari from Republika.

She explained that Indonesia with the big number of pilgrims had bargaining power to build such facility. The House also suggests the cooperation with local entrepreneurs. "If the Saudi government rejects the building permit, then we can cooperate with local entrepreneurs. They will build it and we rent it," another member of monitoring team, Jazuli Juwaini, said.
