Cindy Lee Garcia (in red blouse), an actress in the "Innocence of Muslims", an anti-Islam movie that has spawned violent protests across the Muslim world, holds a news conference outside her attorney's office after a court hearing in Los Angeles, California September 20, 2012. A California judge denied on Thursday a request by Garcia to remove the film from YouTube. Garcia had sought to have the film removed in a suit against YouTube parent company Google Inc and a California man linked to the film, saying she was duped into taking part and had since received death threats. REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The President of Parliamentary Union of OIC Member States (PUIC), Marzuki Alie, supports Saudi Arabian King Fahd order on banning Youtube as a precautious measure. Youtube posted anti-Islam film ‘Innocence of Muslims’ that sparked protest in several Muslim countries.

He said in a press release on Monday that freedom of expression in US and Europe should not have been a freedom to insult other religions. "It often happens that freedom leads to riot in several places," he said and added that all sites spreading the news of film that contains sensitive issue must be banned as well.

"President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono step to propose an international protocol against desecration of religion in UN General Assembly Meeting is a breakthrough. Every country is responsible to maintain world peace by conducting preventive acts towards denigration," he said.
